    This introductory covers 30 basic upper and lower body techniques (kihon). Additional course work includes basic self defense, break falls and rolls. No prior experience is required. All participants receive a course manual. Instructors provide information on gi (uniform) and IWKA membership (additional fee). Belt work for this class includes: white and yellow. Please note: there are no classes held July 4 & 6, and Aug 1 & 3.

    For this advanced class, course work includes the continued study and practice of kihon, advanced kata, bunkai (application of kata), and kobudo (weapons training) with bo and sai. Minimum prerequisites include a working knowledge of at least five kata's by matriculation or permission of the instructor. Belt work for this class includes: green, purple, brown and black. Students must be at least 16 years of age to earn full adult black belt status. Instructors provide information on equipment and belt promotion (additional fee).
